The Two-Night Friend Getaway is designed for groups who want to experience winter together.

Whether it’s skating on the lake, warming up in the shack, sharing food, or staying out longer than planned, this stay offers a simple rhythm: a private suite as your home base, and Lake Temiskaming just steps away. It’s winter that feels both effortless and memorable.

What’s included in your two-night stay

• Two nights in the Ferland or Murphy Suite

• Spacious, group-friendly layouts with expandable sleeping options

• Reserved access to the President’s Suites warming shack for skating breaks, board games, or lounging (subject to availability)

• Charcuterie-style winter snack served in the warming shack or your private suite (Day 1)

• Access to the skating rink and lakefront on Lake Temiskaming

• Use of the 8-person hot tub, with robes and towels provided

Good to know: Ice fishing is welcome outside the shack. No fish are permitted inside. The skating rink is located directly out front.

The Warming Shack

The warming shack is the heart of the winter experience.

Set directly on the lake, it’s a simple, cozy shelter designed for comfort and connection - a place to warm your hands, share food, play games, and watch winter unfold outside.

While the skating rink may be open to the public, the warming shack can be reserved as a private space for your group, allowing you to come and go at your own pace throughout the day.

Optional Add: VIP Shack Access

For groups looking to extend their time on the lake, VIP Shack Access may be available.

This option is offered only when your group is the sole VIP booking during the period and works especially well as a winter basecamp for nearby ice fishing, snowmobiling stops, or longer lake days. Availability is limited and must be arranged in advance.

• Suites from $375 per night (two-night minimum stay)

• $75 cleaning fee per floor + applicable taxes

• Additional beds and optional VIP upgrades available
  
  Guests are asked to bring their own winter footwear for outdoor paths to the hot tub, as well as winter outerwear for walks to the warming shack.
